Stop or I'll tweet!Back in June, when the Iranian government was cracking down on dissent, I finally understood the power of Twitter.

Just wanted to share a few Twitter resources that I have come across.

  • Twitter Handbook for Teachers

An overview of Twitter and ways of using it in education. A Twitter primer with reasons, stories and resources. Created by Tomaz Lasic.

I use this plugin with my blog. Very easy to configure and use. If you know of educators who are already using Twitter and want to incorporate a blog, then this is a tool that works well. One blog post, one tweet, done.

  • Twitter Tools - This plugin that creates an integration between your WordPress blog and your Twitter account. It allows you to pull your tweets into your blog (as posts and digests) and create new tweets on blog posts and from within WordPress.
