When I was writing papers in high school and college, citations were such a pain to do. I had to buy expensive and heavy reference manuals for both MLA and APA, depending on my instructors preference. Not so today. There are a number of web sites that make this process so easy today. Here are a few to consider for your professional or your students' use.

  • Bibme - The fully automatic bibliography maker that auto-fills. It's the easiest way to build a works cited page. And it's free.
  • DocsCite - A step-by-step guide to putting government publication citations into proper style format.
  • EasyBib - The Automatic Bibliography & Citation Maker
  • eTurabian - Our Precision is Your Grade!
  • KnightCite - the Hekman Library at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI
  • OttoBib - Make a bibliography. It's free, easy and OttoMatic.
  • Son of Citation Machine - Helps students and professional researchers to properly credit the information that they use
