Having created a video Playlist, now we need to share it. The first step will be to create a custom video player to display your Playlist.

  • To begin, login to your YouTube account.
  • Click on your username and select Account from the drop down list
  • Look for the More column and click on the Custom Video Players link

YouTube - Custom Video Playlist Link

On this page, we create a new video player and customize its appearance. Click on the Create Custom Player link to begin.

From here, just follow the sequence of steps on the page.YouTube - Edit Custom Player Settings

  • For player information, enter a name and description. If you have multiple players and playlists, this might be an important step. These settings can always be adjusted later, if you choose.
  • Select a color theme for your viewer, and choose the layout.
  • Finally, choose the playlist to display in the player.
  • Now, all we have to do is click the Generate Code button to create the code to embed the custom player. Once the code displays, copy it and paste it into your favorite blog, wiki, or web site
  • If you are creating a new playlist, click Finish to end the process. If you are editing an existing player, click Save Player.

Here is an example of an embedded custom player on this site.
