Coordinate with “When Is Good?”
WhenIsGood is a web tool that provides an easy way to see when others are free for a meeting or event. I needed this tool today when I was trying to coordinate a face-to-face meeting with five other teachers.
As with most online services you have to create an account first. Since I had created an account last year, I was able to login quickly and begin to create the event. To create an event, you select the date(s) and time settings. Events can be schedule by the hour, half-hour, or even 15 minute slots. After the event calendar is created with your preferred date(s) and time settings, simply click on the date/time blocks you want to offer to your invitees. For me, I simply selected a half-hour block before and after school for an entire week.
The last thing to do is to invite people to see your proposed times and click on when they are free. If they want, they can even send a short message to you. When they post the times that are good for them on the site, you get an email with a link to the results page. The red dots indicate how many individuals cannot make the meeting or event. On the example below, I can see that the best date and time is Thursday morning before school.
So, if you need a quick way to coordinate a meeting or event, consider using WhenIsGood.
